Privately Funded Scholarships

Boeing Graduate Scholars

The Boeing Graduate Scholars program provides various levels of scholarships, including up to full tuition and fees at the graduate in-state rate. This scholarship was founded to support high-achieving U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are traditionally underrepresented in technology in either the Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Applications or Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering programs.

To be eligible, students must be enrolled at the Northern Virginia Campus. Preference will be given to underrepresented students, Virginia residents, those with demonstrated financial need, and veteran or military-connected students.

Full-time students can receive funding for a total of up to three terms and half-time students up to five terms. This award may be combined with other scholarships but will be cancelled if the student receives a departmental assistantship.

Students will need to submit their Graduate School admission application, meet the eligibility criteria listed above, and answer the Additional Education Experience section of the application to be automatically considered for this scholarship. Contact techtalent@40cr13.com for more information.

Aid

Masters and PhD graduate students may receive funding from a variety of sources to offset the cost of their graduate studies. Depending on your program and circumstance, students should explore their options and consult with the Office of University Scholarships and Financial Aid at finaid@40cr13.com or 540-231-5179 as needed.
